The latest Motorola R7Ex ATEX Series is an intrinsically safe, licensed two-way radio built for refineries, chemical plants and mines where dust, water and shocks can end ordinary radios. It meets/exceeds MIL-STD-810, carries an IP67 rating, and has passed Motorola’s Accelerated Life Test simulating five years of heavy use. Replacing the popular DP4000 Ex Series, the R7Ex offers improved audio, durability, and performance for hazardous environments.
