3M PELTOR launches LiteCom Pro III Headset Data Sheet

 

3M PELTOR Communication Solutions has recently launched the WS LiteCom Pro III Headset, with integrated analogue and digital DMR two-way radio in combination with Bluetooth.

 

Part of the next generation of LiteCom products, the new headset also features environmental listening with level-dependent hearing protection.

In noisy environments, hearing protection is critical, as is employee safety and workgroup productivity.

The WS LiteCom Pro III Headset helps protect hearing by reducing environmental noises, but also integrates a two-way radio and a noise cancelling microphone that allows you to hear, and be heard, even in loud environments with hands free operation.

Depending on your existing two-way radio system, the headset can be programmed to use either analogue or digital UHF two-way radio transmission, and can be programmed to unique radio frequency channels as needed.

Bluetooth wireless communication can also be used to connect the headset to mobile devices.  If the noise quietens down, turn up the surround volume to talk with a colleague or to hear surroundings.  And if the hazardous noise suddenly returns, the level-dependent technology will step in to help keep you protected.

Designed to be comfortable for extended periods, the headset is easy to use so you can focus on the task at hand, and resistant to harsh environmental elements including temperature fluctuations, rain, and wind. 

*The headset is also available as ATEX-approved (WS LiteCom Pro III Ex Headset), and this version can be used for work in oil and gas industry, mining and where intrinsic safety products are required. It is approved for use in potentially explosive environments in accordance with the ATEX directive and the IECEx scheme for dust, gas and underground mining.
