Essex Reptile encounters is a business born out of passion, run by a husband and wife team who have a combined reptile experience of over 45 years. Offering educational visits, parties, photography sessions and corporate events to name a few, the team have a very busy calendar.


During the events there is often multiple sessions being run in separate areas, with a team of 10 presenting to audiences of up to 30,000. Speaking with Co-founder James he explained that it is at these events that communication between staff is extremely important. To help with this Essex Reptile Encounters recently purchased Motorola T82 Extreme walkie-talkies from Radio Solutions.

James further went on to explain:


‘The Radios are used for a multitude of reasons. One of these is to prevent anyone in our team from feeling isolated. Everyone knows that they can contact myself should they need any support or are asked a question that they are unsure of. From a health and safety aspect they also help to ensure the safety of both the staff and the participants’
It seems the radios have already been put to good use with James further detailing:


‘We were recently involved in a large scale Halloween event which was spread over many different rooms. The radios worked fantastically for this and delivered clear signal that allowed the team to co-ordinate effectively. 2020 is already shaping up to be a busy year with many events booked in so the radios will no doubt have lots of use over the coming months.’
