Situated in Dollar Scotland, The Japanese Garden is a visitor attraction that was originally developed during the early 1900s. After sadly falling victim to vandalism in the 1960s, the historic grounds are currently halfway through a restoration project that will see the gardens returned to their former glory. With a great deal of support and interest in the project, a decision was made to reopen before completion and consequently, the garden now attracts up to 350 visitors per day.

With this number of daily visitors, management at The Japanese Garden recognised the need for new two-way radios to improve communication between staff based at different locations across the grounds including three staff buildings. Speaking with Business Administrator Lynne about their requirements for the new radios she explained the need for larger area coverage and increased reliability.

Turning to Radio Solutions the radio of choice that met the criteria was the Motorola T92. Licensed free, easy to use and waterproof meant the radios offer a complete solution.
When discussing how the radios had performed Lynne detailed that although there were a few initial teething issues, these were quickly dealt with and the team have since responded positively to the new radios.
